At the Boys & Girls Club of Cornwall/SDG, we recognize that every child has the ability, potential, and skills to fulfill their individual dreams. Unfortunately, many kids do not see this potential in themselves. Our programs are organized by qualified staff and volunteers and take a child-focused approach to help develop self-esteem, cultural awareness, confidence, behaviors of healthy living and a desire to become positive members of our community.
Our Youth Workers are responsible for assisting and implementing planned activities for children and youth between the ages of 6 and 18. The Youth Worker recognizes and accepts the need to be a positive influence who models honesty, fair play, a positive attitude, cooperation and respect for self and others.
