BGC Cornwall/SDG is proud to offer a variety of youth programming! Our programs are designed to engage youth from Grades 7-12 and provide a safe supportive place where youth can explore interests, learn new skills, and build new friendships.

Programs Offered

TEEN DROP IN

A fun and safe program for youth to drop in and participate in sports, games, make new friends and create new memories. The program runs from Monday to Friday from 6:30 – 8:30 PM. For grades 7-12.

Program provided in partnership with:

SUMMER CAMP

Join us for fun in the sun this summer located at 506 First St. E in Cornwall.

We have outdoor fun, tech activities, sports, outings and so much more planned.

Cost is only $35 a week.

 

 

RAISE THE GRADE

Explore your personal interests, receive homework support, connect with mentors, interact with peers, and increase your digital literacy. For grades 9-12.

LEAD UP

Lead Up focuses on engaging youth in our community to learn different skills essentials to become a leader in their school, community or workplace. The skills discussed throughout the program; communication skills, decision making, conflict resolution, and general leadership skills. The program also aids with resume building and the opportunity to earn community service hours needed to obtain their high school diploma.

TAKE IT EASY

A program that fosters self-esteem and confidence in youth and addresses the complex issues youth face.By addressing the complex issues young people face, Take It EASY (Empowerment and Self-Esteem for Youth) fosters self-esteem and confidence in teens and pre-teens so they can make better decisions. Topics include self-esteem, gender and body image, sexuality, and violence. For ages 10-15.

FLEX YOUR HEAD

Flex Your Head was developed to help youth think about, talk about, and understand issues of mental health and wellness within a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. In an active, peer-based format, youth are given the knowledge, skills, and strategies to cope with stress and distress and promote positive mental health and wellness.
